I've been inspired by a number of friends and family who have recently (or whom I've recently started following) started blogs of their own.

A little about me, and what you might expect to see here. I moved to Chicago from New York City this past October. Leaving behind a great job, and some amazing friends, I moved here to be with my man-friend.

We both knew finding a job here wasn't going to be easy, but neither of us knew what was in store. This process has made me question myself, my abilities, and has truly made me value open, honest, and prompt communication.

I have a hard time finding the right words to describe the frustrations I've encountered throughout this process... so what better way than to write it all here, as it happens.
